Some of our counselling team
Our qualified counsellors are trained to offer a range of different modalities including person-centred, integrative, psychodynamic and transactional analysis. Many have particular areas of expertise and interest such as bereavement counselling, child and adolescent counselling, mental health and domestic violence. Our counsellors all receive regular supervision, are fully insured and belong to professional counselling organisations.
We also have a number of trainee counsellors who are in their third and fourth years of counselling training. All our trainee counsellors are carefully selected for their suitability and receive additional training in mental health, anxiety disorders, depression and domestic violence. Like our qualified counsellors they are regularly supervised and belong to professional counselling organisations
Our Counsellors are all:
Warm and welcoming
Members of a professional counselling organisation
Experienced in mental health issues, substance misuse and domestic violence
Those who work with children and young people all have DBS checks.
We all adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework and work according to their principles and values of respect, justice, equality and trustworthiness.
