Counsellor volunteers
 

We welcome applications from qualified counsellors who would like to
volunteer with us in order to gain more experience. We can offer a supportive,
friendly environment, subsidised in-house supervision and training.
Each year we recruit a number of student counsellors who are completing their
100 hours of supervised counselling in order to become qualified counsellors.

Please note we have completed reviewing applications for September 2024  but will be accepting applications from students who wish to start their placement in January 2025. We are particularly interested to hear from students who are interested in working with children and young people.

Administrative volunteers
 

We have a large amount of administrative work that can be done by
volunteers. This includes data entry, filing, photocopying, receptionist duties,
publicity, fundraising, minute taking, web design and much more.
Some of this work will involve handling confidential client information, so we
will require all volunteers to provide 2 references and agree to adhere to all
our policies and procedures. Full training is given, the working environment is
friendly and supportive.
