Our Services
Individual counselling
Counselling can help with a wide range of difficulties such as low self esteem, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, loss, abuse and substance misuse. All our counsellors are trained in the person-centred approach, which is based on empathy, acceptance and honesty. Our counsellors use a variety of other approaches when it is appropriate, in order to help clients work through their problems.
We work mainly with adults but some of our counsellors are also able to work with children and adolescents.
Brief Therapy
Draws on aspects of CBT, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness to help clients work more effectively on their difficulties, by recognising their strengths and trying out new strategies between sessions.
Bereavement counselling
Some of our counsellors have specialist training in bereavement counselling from Cruse and are able to offer this service.
Counselling in different languages
We can offer counselling in the following languages for those who do not speak English as their first language: Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Spanish, Greek and Edo (Nigerian language)
Our Fees
Charges are on a sliding scale between £10-£25 per session for those in employment
