  • When you use our website to make a referral or use our webform to get in touch with us, your personal details are taken such as your name, email, phone number, address, date of birth, the type of service you require and your availability. 

  • Health-related information relevant to counselling or support services

  • Referral information from partner organisations

  • Publicly available data (e.g., Charity Commission, Companies House)

 

We employ all necessary measures to ensure the security of your personal information. Access to such data is tightly controlled to prevent any unauthorised access.

When you give it to us directly:

Our legal basis for collecting your personal data is a legitimate interest.  We have assessed that in order to provide you with support, advice, training or information, we need to collect your personal data.  We will not use any direct marketing, sales or fundraising promotions

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we are required by law to do so. 

If data is transferred outside the UK, GDPR safeguards will be applied.

 

Data retention
We keep your personal data only as long as necessary for its purpose or legal obligations. Data no longer required is securely deleted or anonymised.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 2018, which describes the right for an individual to apply for a Subject Access Request at no cost.
