Counselling Team Bexley

Meet Our Qualified Counsellors and Volunteers

We’re not just therapists, we’re people who care, rooted in the same communities we support.

Our team is committed to making counselling accessible to all, offering support that’s welcoming, non-judgmental, and grounded in empathy. We believe everyone deserves the chance to be heard and supported, no matter their background or circumstances.

With over 80 therapists on our team, we can’t list them all here but rest assured, you’re in safe and experienced hands.

Qualified Counsellors

Our team of qualified counsellors offers a wide range of therapeutic approaches,

including person-centred, integrative, psychodynamic, and transactional analysis.

Many of our counsellors also bring specialist experience in areas such as:

  • Bereavement and loss

  • Child and adolescent counselling

  • Mental health challenges

  • Domestic violence and trauma

Counsellors in training

We also have a team of trainee counsellors who are in the advanced stages of their training (third and fourth years). Each trainee is carefully selected for their suitability to work with clients and receives additional training in key areas such as:

  • Mental health

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Domestic violence

Like our qualified counsellors, they receive regular supervision, are fully insured, and are members of professional counselling organisations. They bring fresh insight, care, and commitment to their work, while being closely supported throughout their placement with us.

Our Commitment to Safe and Ethical Practice

  • Those working with children and young people hold up-to-date DBS checks

We are committed to ethical, professional practice. All counsellors at our service follow the BACP Ethical Framework, working with core values of:

  • Respect
