We are pleased to offer free one-to-one counselling sessions for people living in Thamesmead.
This service is fully funded by Peabody, making it completely free of charge for residents.

 

Counselling can give you a safe, confidential space to talk about what’s on your mind. Whether you’re feeling anxious, low, stressed, or just need someone to listen, our trained counsellors are here to support you.

  • Adults (18+) who live in Thamesmead

  •  People wanting support with their emotional wellbeing

  •  Anyone looking for a safe, supportive space to talk

 

What you can expect:

  • Weekly 50-minute counselling sessions

  • A qualified, friendly counsellor who listens without judgment

  • Support tailored to your needs and circumstances

 

Thanks to Peabody’s funding, there is no cost to you.

A gentle, supportive group programme designed for women who have experienced difficult or harmful relationships, including domestic abuse.

Format: Online, runs three times a year, led by trauma-informed specialists

 

Focus:

  • Build confidence and emotional resilience

  • Understand personal barriers and the impact of trauma

  • Learn strategies for recovery and self-empowerment

  • Discover how to navigate healthy relationships and workplaces

  • Safe, non-counselling group environment

  • Eligibility: Female survivors of domestic abuse living in Bexley
